Prayer during the pandemic crisis

We are living in extraordinary times, when our need to be a community of prayer could not be greater.

“I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.”

Isaiah 41: 13

Our Church Services have had to be suspended in accordance with Church in Wales guidelines, but at the moment, provided we observe the utmost caution – with hygiene practices and personal distancing of at least 2 metres – we are able to open the following Churches for private prayer and contemplation, daily:-

Conwy Valley:-

St. Mary’s Caerhun 10am – 4pm
St Peter’s Llanbedr-y-Cennin 10am – 4pm
Llangelynnin Old Church all day

Conwy Town:-

From today St Mary’s Conwy will be open for an hour a day: 12 noon – 1pm

Open for Prayer

St. Mary’s is a large building, so there is ample space for us to observe social distancing of at least 2 metres. The door will be open, so there is no need to touch the door handles, and we will be making every effort to clean surfaces as thoroughly as we can. There will be a focus for prayer every day, that will also feature on our website.

Please bring your own pen if you would like to write a prayer in Church. Our Ministry Team say morning prayers every day, and will include yours.

If you are self-isolating and would like to send us prayer requests, please use the Contact Form on our website.

Our community is strong.
Our faith is strong.
We will overcome together.
