This is a morning invitation to come and have fun at St. Mary’s Churchyard in Caerhun on Saturday 11th September, with Phil Lewis (North Wales Wildlife Trust). We are meeting at 9.45am for a 10am start, and you will be able to learn all about hand scything, biodiversity, and managing the environment, particularly our graveyards.

It’s a FREE event, but please bring your own food for lunch 12-1pm, whilst enjoying Caerhun’s refreshments. Importantly, there will be the opportunity for those who want to have a go at scything to do this after lunch. If you’ve never done it before, you will be pleasantly surprised by its rhythmic and contemplative nature.

Numbers are limited, so please book your place with Jenny Young, our Church Warden at Caerhun: jennyyoung1756@gmail.com
Further information about the Scything Day is available from Rev’d Susan Blagden: blagdensm@gmail.com 07741 900 360.
