Today we are delighted to release the first of three short films, each with a piece of music recorded in St Mary’s Conwy, followed by a reflection.
For Maundy Thursday we hear the hauntingly beautiful ‘Ubi Caritas’, a plainsong melody played on cor anglais by Melanie Cross and accompanied by Chris Roberts – fittingly set in front of the ‘Last Supper’ window of St Mary’s Conwy.
Rev David Parry then reflects on John 13:1-7 from the chancel in St Benedict’s Gyffin, with its stunning 15th century mural of the saints.
