Saturday 21st March
From this Saturday onwards, we will be opening St. Mary’s Church, in Conwy, every lunchtime for calm contemplation and private prayer.
In line with Church in Wales guidance, all public worship and gatherings have had to cease for the time being. St. Mary’s is a large building, so there is ample space for us to observe social distancing of at least 2 metres. The door will be open, so there is no need to touch the door handles, and we will be making every effort to clean surfaces as thoroughly as we can. There will be a focus for prayer every day, that will also feature on our website. This Church has been a place of continuous prayer and worship for over 800 years, so…
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Prayer through such an anxious time becomes really important. Please bring your own pen if you would like to write a prayer in Church. Our Ministry Team say morning prayers every day, and will include yours. If you would like to send any prayer requests, then please do use the Contact Form on our website.
Our community is strong.
Our faith is strong.
We will overcome together.
