Support Christian Aid in Gyffin tomorrow!

There’s tea, coffee and cakes at St. Benedict’s Church, in Gyffin, on Monday 24th June (11am – 5pm), so come along to support Christian Aid!

We welcome the news that the UK plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions to almost zero by 2050, but Christian Aid believes that 2045 is actually the latest date.

God has entrusted us to love our neighbours, and to care for His creation. This beautiful blue planet is our home, but some of our neighbours are suffering the consequences of climate change. Loss of life, lack of clean drinking water, malnutrition, illness, and homelessness, are just some of the tragedies that our neighbours are experiencing right now.

Over 10,000 people are expected to meet in London’s Westminster on Wednesday 26th June, to ask MPs to take urgent action, which matches the severity of this climate crisis, and to pray together. Click here for more information.
