We know that Llangelynnin is pretty special, and so many of us find it helpful to visit such a peaceful place of ancient beauty. As our sense of community begins to grow, more people are choosing to seek God up here, wherever they are on their journey of faith.
This season, we are offering an exploration of Seven Sacred Spaces, which are values that come from monastic communities. Each month, we will have a different theme, and we begin with:-
Cell
the place of personal prayer
Find out more about prayer, in our reflective service of Celtic Prayer and Praise at 3pm this Sunday 19th May in Hen Eglwys Llangelynnin Old Church.
If you would like to walk across the hilltops for that extra sense of pilgrimage, there will be a group setting off from the middle car park of the Sychnant Pass at 1.15pm. It’s the second car park as you leave from the Conwy direction. Walking boots and wet weather gear are recommended, just in case it rains! Tea, homemade cakes and a much-needed loo stop are provided after the service, so we look forward to seeing you there this Sunday!
