Caerhun is hosting an Easter Coffee Morning at Tal-y-Bont Memorial Hall on Saturday 23rd March (10am – 12pm).
The funds will go to the Toilet Twinning Charity, to bring hope to families who live in the poorest parts of the world. Donations will be used to provide clean water, basic sanitation and hygiene education.
We are so fortunate to live in the beautiful Conwy valley. We can walk in the Carneddau and see an abundance of fresh water lakes that provide safe drinking water to us. They are free from contamination and we’ve got clean water piped into our homes. Modern sanitation is something that we often take for granted and we even have toilets inside our homes these days!
The fundraiser will have an Easter theme. There will be lots for sale, including cakes, jam, honey, books, plants and seeds. There will also be a tombola and a raffle, as well as gifts for Easter. Our giving will have a direct bearing on the health and safety of people that do not have our advantages.
So come along and help to flush away poverty!
