If you live in Conwy, Deganwy, Llandudno Junction, Glan Conwy, Henryd, Penmaenmawr or Llanfairfechan, then you are invited to an Engagement Event on Saturday 26th January (10.30am – 12.30pm). It’s taking place in the Council Chamber in Conwy County Borough Council Headquarters at Bodlondeb in Conwy.
Our Council has five Local Area Forums across Conwy County, which give our Councillors the chance to meet you in person and for you to talk about what really matters in your community. It’s so easy these days to only express your opinion by sending an email or posting something on a social media platform. The aim of these Forums is to have a face-to-face discussion about local issues and to see what can be done by all of us through joint working. There will be a focus on Tourism, Health and Transport.
Councillor Emma Leighton-Jones, Chair of the Forum, says, “We’re keen for the public to participate and engage on what is important to local communities. The Forum has the potential to stimulate cohesive communities and growth, and is an important part of local democracy”.
