A Commemorative Service to mark the Centenary of the end of the First World War is being held at St. Peter’s in Llanbedr-y-Cennin on 11th November 2018 (6pm). The Service will include hymns, and readings from the Great War, such as those from Hedd Wynn, Siegfried Sassoon, Edward Thomas, and Wilfred Owen. It will be a Nation’s Tribute to the millions of people who lost their lives or were wounded in battle, so that we could enjoy freedom today. It will finish with the Ringing Out for Peace (7.05pm).
