We have another wonderful concert lined up for you this Summer! North Wales Camerata Gogledd Cymru are performing at St. Mary’s Church, in Conwy, on Wednesday 14th August (7.30pm). It’s FREE admission, and all donations are for the North Wales Youth Music Fund, so come along and enjoy the music!
Saturday 20th July to Saturday 27th July – Conwy Classical Music Festival
Most of the events for the Conwy Classical Music Festival were held at St. Mary’s Church, in Conwy. The ever-popular annual festival was a great success once again!
7.30pm Saturday 15th June – Côr Meibion Goronwy Male Voice Choir
Piantel – Dylan Cernyw (harp) and Annette Bryn Parri (piano)
Côr Ysgol Gerdd Canwy
The concert was arranged by the Llandudno Junction 2019 National Eisteddfod Fund Raising Committee, and proceeds went to the Eisteddfod Local Appeal Fund.
7.30pm Saturday 8th June – Cantamus Choir
Norman Rimmer – Conductor
Ellis Thomas – Piano
Choral works were by Byrd, Redford, Tallis, Weelkes, Grieg, Rheinberger, Pearsall, Morley, Wilbye, Schubert, Fauré and Ola Gjeilo, and piano solos were performed by Ellis Thomas.
The proceeds from this concert went towards the Conwy Classical Music Festival.
7.30pm Thursday 30th May – Asaph Ensemble of London presented ‘Eclectic Classics’
Music for Soprano, Oboe, Trumpet, Organ and Strings
David Hooke – Director and Compere
The programme included works by Charpentier, Vivaldi, Rossini, Marcello and Mozart. There were charity collections at the end of the concert.
7.30pm Saturday 11th May – Menai Wind Quintet

The programme included the first performance of Wind Quintet No. 1 by Colin Tommis, and works by Prokofiev, Ligeti, Poulenc and Shostakovich. There were charity collections at the end of the concert.
