Pentecost Day

The Day of Pentecost, or Whit Sunday, is observed 50 days from Easter Day, and 10 days after Ascension Day. It’s the day when we celebrate the Holy Spirit descending on the disciples of Jesus, so that they can continue His work on Earth, because He is no longer with them in the flesh.
