Nine Lessons and Carols – a Christmas Tradition in St. Mary’s Conwy

Traditionally celebrated on or near Christmas Eve, the special service of Nine Lessons and Carols is a beautiful tradition in which the story of the birth of Jesus Christ is told through Bible readings and special carols. Our own choir Cantorion Celynnin will sing a host of specially selected music, with congregational carols and refreshments. The service itself will be led by the Most Reverend Andy John, Archbishop of Wales and Bishop of Bangor. It will be our pleasure to welcome him back so soon after his last successful visit. We hope you can join us for this special service as we celebrate the miracle of the Christmas story.
