Hall for All – Neuadd Ni

About

After receiving confirmation of the full grant amount from the UKSPF Levelling Up Fund, the HFA Project Team have been busy working with the architects, Dewis, on the final plans, and we are now in the tendering process for the appointment of a contractor. Very soon, we will be able to up tools and get cracking on what will be a very busy summer, as the project needs to be completed by November!

Hall For All is a real opportunity to create a hub for all things Conwy, with improved facilities for community groups, classes, music and the arts, gigs, exhibitions, and outreach in the form of our much-loved food bank programme, Bags of Love, which with improved facilities could help so many more families in need in Conwy and the surrounding areas.

Contractors

The Project Team are in the process of appointing a contractor, so watch this space!

What’s it all for?

The Hall for All renovation project is a fantastic opportunity to provide flexible space for hire in Conwy. Realistically there are very few spaces of its kind in our town. Space that’s big enough to host an exhibition, a performance, a private party, a gig, even a wedding reception or gala dinner. But it’s also an opportunity to create spaces for learning, for meetings, for classes and coffee mornings, to support our local community through our Bags of Love foodbank programme which supports vulnerable families and individuals across Conwy. It’s a space for everyone to enjoy – Neuadd Ni, our hall, all things you, our community, said we needed in Conwy, and would like to see happen in the ‘Hall for All’.

What can we do there?

Bags of Love

Updated kitchen and storage facilities mean we will be able to reach more people in need, and host regular Heat and Eats in the winter months. Bags of Love will remain a core part of our hall, and will support vulnerable people for years to come.

Gigs and performances

Indie, folk, country, jazz, pop, dance, drama, comedy, poetry and spoken word, classical, or orchestral, we have been working with sound engineers to perfect the sound quality and create an ideal, and importantly accessible space for a performance to an audience of up to 200.

Rehearsals

An ideal space for a series of rehearsals in preparation for a big show. Whether it’s a local AmDram group, a dance troupe, choir, orchestra or professional touring company, our hall space has it all.

Classes and meetings

Welsh lessons, Sunday School, Bake Off Club, Yoga, Ballet, Singing, Dance, Messy Church, Lego Club, Origami, Crafting, Sewing- the list is endless! With a dedicated small meeting room with WiFi and hearing loop for business or group meetings too.

Exhibitions

Exhibition space is at a premium, and there are few places in Conwy large enough to host a private exhibition. Art, photography, sculpture, model railways, community art installations and more, this is the perfect flexible space for an exhibition.

Parties and Events

Life events are for celebrating. Baptisms, birthdays, even wedding receptions can be hosted in our hall. Our connection to the church makes it an ideal venue for receptions after these important life events. With improved kitchen facilities and flexible options for space and capacity, you can make your celebration a day to remember. Hosting a corporate event or charity fundraiser? No problem, all you need is a caterer.

Do anything!

The options for our hall are endless. Have an idea not listed here? Get in touch to see what we can do!
