St. Mary’s Conwy is delighted to welcome back the Monteverdi singers for a special Candlemass concert on 31st January at 7.30pm, with a lovely programme of music for the season. Featuring music by Pachelbel, Tavener, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams and more, this is sure to be a fantastic concert, and one not to miss. Doors at 6.45pm, with a retiring collection in support of the choir and church funds.
We’re pleased to confirm the new date for the postponed Plygain service from earlier this month. The Plygain will now take place on 25th January at 3.30pm in St. Benedict’s Church. We’d love to see you there for this wonderful Welsh tradition – there have been lots of groups working on Plygain hymns, so its sure to be a beautiful service.
Note this will be in place of an Evensong this month. Our monthoy evensong will commence in February – more details to follow on a separate post.
