It was a wonderful service on Sunday for the RNLI 200th Anniversary, with a fantastic £300 raised for the Conwy Lifeboat Crew through the collection and following coffee morning – and that fabulous cake in the raffle!
Rev. Canon Berw Hughes led the service, who many may remember blessed the crew’s current lifeboat when it was first given to the station.
Speeches were given by David Jones, Chairman of the RNLI Conwy branch, and Councillor Sian Grady, Conwy Town Councillor.

Sian’s Family have served the lifeboats for many generations, and her mother was instrumental in the inception of the Conwy Crew. Her family generously presented a cheque for £500 to the Conwy Lifeboats at Sunday’s Service.
