A great night was had at last week’s Gwledd Dewi Sant fundraiser for Bags of Love- with a whopping £5000 raised to support Lynn and the team in their incredible food programme supporting local families. Lots of familiar faces, and plenty of new friends meant a fantastic evening was had all round.
Local MP Robin Millar was also in attendance, and had donated a Westminster bottle for the auction!
“It was great to attend the St. David’s Day dinner and lovely to catch up with old friends and to meet new. The wonderful music, lovely setting and food all came together to make a really enjoyable evening. I was especially interested to hear how much money has been raised to support Bags of Love – over 5K and glad to provide a bottle from Westminster which I hope will be enjoyed in its new home.”

Every penny raised will go to buying food, toiletries and other essential items for families who otherwise struggle to make ends meet in this troubling time of financial insecurity and uncertainty.
