6pm Sunday 28th November

An atmospheric service on the first Sunday of Advent in St Mary’s Church, Conwy, with music by ‘Cantorion Celynnin’.

12pm-4pm 29th November – 4th December

The Christmas Tree Festival in aid of St David’s Hospice returns to St Mary’s Conwy! Come and see trees by local businesses, schools and community groups.

Christmas Concert by Bangor University Chamber Choir with Rhys Meirion in St Mary’s Conwy.

As part of Bangor University Music Department’s 100th anniversary celebrations, the Chamber Choir will be joined by renowned tenor Rhys Meirion in a stunning programme of Christmas music, including works by Victoria, Mendelssohn, John Metcalfe, Gareth Glyn and John Gardner.

A small gathering in the heart of Conwy – with local ale, mince pies and mulled wine, in St Mary’s Church Hall, Rose Hill Street. Early booking essential.

Michele Stodart is a solo artist as well as bassist, vocalist and co-songwriter with much loved, double-platinum selling The Magic Numbers. Michele’s intimate, heart-wrenching live performances have gained her recognition for her solo material and proved she is an artist and songwriter in her own right. Doors open 7.30pm. Conwy Town Orchestra Christmas Concert

After a 2 year absence caused by the pandemic, the Conwy Town Orchestra will be presenting their Christmas Concert on Thursday December 16th at 7.30pm in the beautiful and historic St. Mary’s Church in the heart of Conwy.  The Orchestra is made up of 30 local amateur musicians form all walks of life and the concert will include a selection of fun Christmas music and traditional Carols. 

Hold on to your seats for the Sleigh Ride, Christmas at the Movies, A Christmas Festival Overture and a high seas adventure with the Pirates of the Caribbean, to name but a few.

Two local vocal stars, Sioned Terry and John Ieuan Jones, accompanied at the piano by celebrated composer Robat Arwyn, present a sparkling programme of old and new Christmas classics, designed to get us all into the Christmas spirit. Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

Book on Eventbrite – this is always a hugely popular service, and with reduced capacity we need to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Join us in St Mary’s Conwy for our traditional Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. Along with many of the old favourites for all to sing, Cantorion Celynnin, our augmented church choir, will perform carols by David Willcocks, John Rutter, Alan Bullard, Robert Pearsall, Edgar Pettman and others.
